Food was it excellent and the bread was very soft and delicious. The staff are friendly. Dining inside is limited so to go orders are recommended for hot weather days. Seating outside is lovely in a nice weather day.
Went in today and everything was great, the subs were delicious fair price for everything that we got. I absolutely love the atmosphere, I guess it used to be an old gas station and it has that american 50s charm to it. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming will be back

Every time I'm in the downtown area I have to come here- something about the bread and dressings here is just so delicious! The service is fast and to the point. They also have a super cute large outdoor seating area.
My brother and I had lunch there today. We wanted to see how the cleanup of the Zone is going. We had the Wednesday special sandwich and a pastrami sandwich, served with macaroni salad or potato salad and a cold drink for. $10.00 each. Y I No The sandwiches were very good with fresh cut lettuce and tomatoes. Way better than average subs. There was a steady flow of customers, most appeared to be from the offices surrounding the area. The staff was fast and efficient. We will definitely be back to watch the progress in the Zone and get a great lunch for $25.00. Good luck to the displaced homeless people. Hope they take this as a opportunity to get better! Hard to imagine this little sub shop has been here since 1987!

Since I've been traveling a ton for work, I've been getting my sandwich game on any chance I can get and Old Station hit it all for me. When I was driving there I was a little hesitant and then I pulled and this is exactly what I expected out of a local Phoenix spot. The outdoor dining, the inside decor, it was great. I got the station sandwich and it was delicious - loaded with all the toppings, plus avocado, turkey, ham, and Swiss. I also tried out the tuna sandwich, Italian, and turkey. You really can't go wrong. Price - oh so affordable! 4 sandwiches, 4 chips, and 2 drinks for $42. In Denver that would have been upwards of $70 so I'm here for it all! All in all, I know I'll be stopping here every time I'm in town.
